Steve Brine visited Sun Hill junior school in Alresford on Friday 11th October as he met staff and pupils at what he described as a 'happy school'.
Speaking after a busy morning in Alresford, and on the way to his surgery, Steve said: "It's rare these days, certainly in my constituency, to visit a stand-alone junior school but this is a strong example of one working well.
"The sense of space on the site and in the school is striking when you visit but they use it really well to create a smart learning environment.
"As always I enjoyed meeting the team and some of the children and was especially pleased to hear of the school's strong focus on the use of ICT as well as teaching the importance of enterprise. Both these things will serve them well when they eventually get out into the workplace.
"Thank you to Neil MacKenzie, an energetic head who made me very welcome at what is clearly a happy school."
