Winchester MP Steve Brine paid a visit to Oliver’s Battery Primary and Nursery School to finally meet (in-person) headteacher Carly Redfern.
The visit gave Steve a chance to meet the team and see the fully integrated pre-school at work.
Steve says; “I’ve been eagerly waiting to get back to Oliver’s Battery throughout the past year, even more so to meet Carly. It was fantastic to get back on the site and even better to see the pre-school as part of the family after many years of work to make that happen.
I was so impressed by the forest school, the garden set-up and the chickens. And as ever the view from this school's playing field is the best around.”
