Steve Brine met-up with Hampshire County Council Cabinet member, Cllr Liz Fairhurst, to hear about the council's consultation which would see £173million invested to transform and expand the future of nursing and specialist care accommodation.
The proposals, which recommend concentrating on the delivery of specialist nursing care, complex dementia care and short-term support – to either prevent a hospital admission or support a hospital discharge - will see Cornerways in Kings Worthy finally used again.
