Epiphany is a relatively young charity which is currently working to help street children in India, by building multi-purpose, eco-friendly centres in the more rural parts of the country, which are often overlooked by government and general charity fundraising.
On Saturday, a group of 18 young adults and teenagers walked the 13 miles from the historic statue to the Bargate in Southampton, dressed as a variety of characters from Dr Who- including one walker who dressed as a Tardis!
Speaking after the group set off, Steve, who was joined by young Emily, said: "I was more than happy to pop down and wave the group off with a fond farewell. It is fantastic to see such a charismatic group of youngsters put themselves through their paces for such a good cause, and I am delighted to offer them my support."
