Steve Brine is pushing to improve the state of Fulflood pavements following recent concerns about the poor state of Greenhill Road.
A number of local residents have written to Steve or popped into his 'shop' on Stockbridge Road to express concern that, following recent works on the road, the surface remains poor and even dangerous.
Steve said: "As local people know, I have my busy constituency office just around the corner, next to Pickards, and there are a lot of elderly people, as well as young families with buggies using the pavements.
"The County Council replied to my formal letter to let me know that a 'prioritising process' for works will take place this Autumn. I feel that the current situation is an unpleasant accident waiting to happen, and will be collating representations with which to return to the council as part of that process."
In order to ensure a strong local response, Steve is asking local residents to email him with their support for this area to be included in the future schedule of works, so he can present the county council with a very strong case.
