Local MP, Steve Brine, will hold a special Ask the Airport meeting next month to answer questions from local residents.
Southampton International Airport, who in recent years have unveiled their ambition to extend the runway, will be at Colden Common Community Centre at 19:00 on Thursday 9th February. MD Steve Szalay will be among those on-hand from SIA.
The session is the latest in Mr Brine’s ASKseries which has previously focused on issues such as international aid, the future of the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, local train services and most recently COP26 with Alok Sharma MP.
He says; “For a number of my constituents, especially those living to the South of Winchester, Southampton Airport is a key issue. Many use it and enjoy the convenience of a local airport but will have many more questions about its future and issues such as flight paths. This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from airport bosses and ask your question.”
To ensure a safe event, you must register your interest with Steve by emailing [email protected] giving your full name and address or go to www.stevebrine.com/asktheairport
