The two hour session, complete with the fantastic views over the city, brought up the usual variety of local and national issues as Steve and the team spoke to a large number of residents.
Steve said: "This is clearly one of the most stunning parts of Winchester and you have a real mix of residents. It was good to spend some time at Milesdown meeting new (and not so new now) residents, including many old friends who've moved there from other parts of Winchester as well Stratton Road, Northbrook Avenue and the surrounding area.
"It's always useful to spend time out meeting constituents and it was nice to chat with Hugh Watson who kindly gave me a copy of his book 'St Giles Hill - it's place in history', written back in 1996, for my Summer recess reading. As a history buff I look very much to taking a look."
