Steve Brine spent a busy morning in Alresford on Saturday 29th March, as he held an action-packed street surgery with Cllr Lisa Griffiths.

Now in its 8th year, Steve and Lisa spoke to a vast number of people on the corner of Broad Street and West Street, and were joined by local PCSOs Laura Willshire and Matt Cable.

Steve said: "Lisa and I love this street surgery and the response from Alresford residents continues to be good. On any Saturday, the town is bustling place but in warm Spring sunshine it was buzzing and we did not stop for a moment.

"There were a lot of questions, from residents living in Sun Lane and Langtons Court, about the proposed Alresford Local Plan which could put new homes in the area and it is always good to hear peoples' thoughts.

"There were many national questions also ranging from feedback on the recent Budget, the Scottish referendum and Syria. As ever the team, and local people, really love being able to access their PCSO team via this street surgery, so thanks to Laura and Matt for joining us. We had a really enjoyable morning and it was so good to see Cllr Lisa Griffiths engaging so positively with residents."
