Steve Brine joined local councillors and residents at the Guildhall on Thursday 31st January at an information event regarding the proposed Barton Farm development.
Following the granting of Outline Planning Permission back in October 2012, developers CALA Homes are preparing the first stages of Phase One of the scheme. The original plans are now several years old and the event gave CALA the opportunity to engage with local people before they submit a detailed planning application.
Steve said: "Barton Farm must be built to the highest possible design standards and really set the pace for modern energy conservation and efficiency.
"We will work tirelessly with the council and developer to see it does deliver affordable new homes for local people."
