Ahead of the Boomtown Festival being held at Matterley Bowl this weekend, should residents have any enquiries and concerns, there are a variety of contact numbers, which will allow Winchester City Council to monitor the effect of any noise on local people.

To contact the site, call 01962 867944.

To contact Phil Tidridge at WCC during working hours on Thursday and Friday, call 01962 840222.

Out of hours calls should be directed to 01962 832057.

Local MP Steve Brine said: "I know WCC will be carrying out spot checks, and I can assure local residents that I will be keeping a very close eye on Matterley this weekend, particularly following the recent JLS fiasco."
