Local MP, Steve Brine, met with leading campaigners against the planned closure of a part of Andover Road which runs parallel with the Kings Barton estate.

Members of the Kings Barton Residents Association (KBRA) have ramped up their opposition to the future closure of Andover Road, which will see traffic redirected via Winchester Avenue which runs through the centre of Kings Barton.

Following the meeting Steve said : "This morning I met with Mike and Malcolm from the Kings Barton Residents Association to hear the latest in their ongoing campaign to keep the existing Andover Road open when Winchester Avenue connects up within the new development north of the city."
