Steve Brine and his team hit the streets once again, on day four of the Election campaign, which concludes with the head-to-head TV debate where David Cameron will take on Ed Miliband, and where the leaders of the five minor parties will also take part.
The Conservative candidate was out in Teg Down and King's Worthy, and was able to talk at length with many local people, about his strong record for Winchester, as well as broader national issues.
Steve said: "It came up time and again, I am pleased to say, that I have been a hard-working constituency MP, and the feedback was fantastic.
"We covered a huge amount of ground today, and there is a genuine momentum to the campaign.
"The other thing that keeps coming up is support for my 100% positive campaign.
"It is crystal clear that younger people, and women in particular, absolutely despise negative, mud-slinging, narrow campaigning, and how they find it such a turn-off. It does so much to damage politics."
