Steve Brine dropped into Winchester Cathedral on Friday 15th December as he caught up with the Receiver General, Annabelle Boyes.
After a chat over coffee about the health of the Cathedral and Chapter as well as an update on this year's Market and Ice Rink, they looked inside the Deanery, which is undergoing major restoration to provide up-to-date, practical and genuinely private family accommodation for the Dean.
They also walked inside the Cathedral to catch up on the incredible Birth of a Nation work and chatted with some of the stall holders at the Christmas Market.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "I value my visits to the Cathedral so much. The work going on across the Deanery and inside the Cathedral itself is simply stunning.
"It's always good to hear from Annabelle what they're up to and especially at this time of year now the market and ice Rink is such a big event."
