Steve Brine has continued his support of HIV and AIDS charities and groups, joining his fellow Co-Chairs of the All-Party group to meet with the National AIDS Trust.

The Member of Parliament for Winchester and Chandler's Ford's work in HIV and AIDS started when he was a Minister setting up the HIV Commission, which he would go on to serve on.

Since the Commissions report he has continued to be a champion in this area chairing the APPG for HIV and AIDS, attending numerous meetings and events in support of the sector.

On the first week after Summer recess the MP met with the CEO of the National AIDS Trust to discuss data protection, fertility, opt-out testing, PrEP retention to care and countless other issues.

Hampshire Chronicle column - Farewell

Thursday, 30 May, 2024
