Members of Chandlers Ford and Monks Brook U3as spent an evening with Steve Brine as he took them on a tour of the corridors and lobbies of the Houses of Parliament.
Around 50 constituents joined the tour before giving the Winchester & Chandler’s Ford MP time to answer their questions.
Speaking afterwards Steve said; “It was such a pleasure to catch up with Bridget and the Chandler’s Ford u3a and they certainly kept me on my toes as we dived into the Q&A!”
Chandler’s Ford u3a’s Chair, Bridget said after; “All the members and I were delighted to have the opportunity to meet Steve, have a virtual tour of Westminster and then have a question and answer session where Steve was open to any question he had time to answer before he was (literally) saved by the voting bell! Thank you Steve for giving us your time.”
