Steve Brine joined a nost of dignitaries at Winchester Cathedral on Law Sunday 9th October, the sixteenth Sunday after Trinity, for Choral Mattins.
Those who attended the traditional service, celebrating the 650th Anniversary of the office of Justice of the Peace, included Her Majesty's Judges, Magistrates and Representatives of Civic and Legal Bodies in Hampshire and the Channel Islands. Also in attendance were a number of Hampshire Mayors, the Chief Executive of Winchester City Council, the Hogh Sheriff of Hampshire and the Lord Lieutenant.
Steve said: "This was a lovely service which I was delighted and honoured to be invited to attend. Winchester Cathedral is such a poignant and beautiful landmark, and I never forget that it serves not only as part of our heritage here in Winchester, but also for the whole of Hampshire."
