City pub wins tourism award

A Winchester pub has won a Bronze Award in a competition organised by Tourism South East.

The Old Vine, run by Marcelo Pugliese and Ashton Gray, is based in The Square, and the team picked up the gong at the Ageas Bowl ceremony which saw businesses across the south east praised for their excellence across the industry, with

Steve Brine visited the popular pub on Friday 16th December, where he was able to congratulate Ashton in person. He said: "This is a fantastic venue, and the service and food were exceptional. It was great to be able to chat to Ashton briefly as he ran a full restaurant, and pass on my congratulations."
