The awards took place on Monday 1st November, where a sustainability award for Best Refurbishment was given to Hampshire County Council’s Queen Elizabeth II Court.
Steve said: "The new Trinity Centre is a stunning building which I know was created by the entire team. Equally important however, is what goes on inside Durngate Place and the more I do this job the more I see what a lifeline they provide for so many vulnerable people in this city.
“Michelle and her team richly deserve this recognition which I hope will further raise their profile locally.
“I’m also delighted for the University, and well done to the county council, who I know received a lot of unjustified flak at the time but have created something truly well thought-through and sustainable.”
Further awards were given to the Discovery Centre and the Hospital of St Cross.
