A group of English Deans were invited to meet with Members of Parliament and Peers by the invitation of Lord Cormack.
Among those Deans attending was Winchester Cathedral's Vice Dean, Roly Riem, who join the Parliamentarians in place of the Dean, Catherine Ogle, who was unable to attend.
Steve Brine was among the MPs who joined the meeting for a chance to engage with some of the most senior officials in the Anglican Church.
Mr Brine said : "It was a pleasure to welcome Vice Dean Riem to Westminster, we have so much that is distinctive and much more in common."
