The Alresford MP was joined by local councillor Lisa Griffiths and Special Constable John Wilding on the corner of Broad Street and West Street, and they didn't stop all morning.
Steve said: "I asked people to come with views on possible British involvement in fighting the IS threat and many did so. Other subjects raised included speeding motorcycles on the A272 and the Alresford Music Festival which is already set for June 6th 2015.
"I am very grateful for John joining us, and many people said how nice it was to see the police out on the street corner. It was yet another good session of engagement with the community as I promised back in 2010 when I said I would be most accessible MP, and it's hard to believe my street surgery is now in its eighth year!"
