Steve Brine hosted staff and children from Hiltingbury Junior School as they took in a tour of the Houses of Parliament on Tuesday 11th June.
As well as being guided around the ancient palace, and seeing the House of Commons themselves, they also met with Steve, the MP for Chandler's Ford and Hiltingbury, and took part in a lively Q&A session in Portcullis House.
Steve said: "I love hosting schools up here in Parliament, and time and again I hear some amazing feedback. As ever, the questions I received were well-considered and challenging, and we discussed crime and the local Street Pastors, and the local horsemeat scandal. Oh, and they also asked which football team I supported!
"Seriously, these days are fantastic in that they bring young people right to the heart of our democracy, and I hope this was a truly memorable occasion."
