Steve Brine and his daughter Emily started a special Santa Fun Run in Winchester this morning in aid of Naomi House Children's Hospice.
The Prospective MP fired the starting gun for the Naomi House Santa Fun Run 2009, held at the Winchester Rugby Club. Along with Popcorn (the Labrador, who took his turn at sporting Rudolph style antlers) Steve and Emily went on to join around 150 other Santa’s for four grueling laps around the River Park area in central Winchester.
Steve says; “It was great fun for a great cause, local people responded brilliantly as usual for this extremely worthy charity. It may have looked cold on Sunday morning but I can tell you it was a touch warm out there dressed in a full santa suit, complete with beard and pushchair!”
Naomi House say the Santa Fun Run will be an annual event.
