Recognising that providing quality care for clients requires a professionally qualified workforce a local care company based in Alresford has been actively encouraging all its caregivers to a study for a QCF in Health and Social Care.

After studying for twelve months the first group of caregivers has recently completed their qualification and local MP Steve Brine paid a return visit to the Alresford office to present the certificates and congratulate them on their achievement.

Jan Gapper, Director of Care for Home Instead, said: "We believe that the more training a caregiver undertakes the more competent and confident they become. This results in better care being delivered to our clients and so we are delighted that so many are studying or have completed their QCF".
