Dr Michael Lambert, a highly accomplished and dedicated GP, has been nominated by Steve Brine MP to be celebrated as a local NHS champion at a reception held at Number 10 Downing Street.
The event was organised by Downing Street to promote the role and importance of health and social care within communities with attendees being honoured by the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Stephen Barclay.
Steve Brine said : "For almost thirty years Dr Michael Lambert has been a GP in Winchester with The Friarsgate Practice. This week I took Michael with me to a special NHS reception at No.10 Downing Street where, among others, he got to pass on the benefit of his vast experience to Secretary of State, Steve Barclay."
