Winchester’s MP headed out to Sparsholt this lunchtime to drop in on the team at Lainston House and catch-up with the Managing Director at Exclusive, Danny Pecorelli.
Steve Brine was contacted by Danny in the summer about an extension to the reduced rate of VAT for hospitality but offered to come to the hotel in Sparsholt and hear about the struggles and complexities of the sector.
He says; “It was really useful to meet up with Danny at Lainston House and further my understanding about the complex issues facing hospitality and how issues with the supply chains affect them. There’s so much more to Lainston House these days than we locals probably realise, from the new restaurant to the chef’s training college and the organic garden, so it was quite a revelation to visit.”
