Steve met life coaches Jo Lee and Isabel van der Ven at his office on Friday 1st April to discuss LYLAC, an after-cancer support programme they have recently founded.
Happily, due to earlier detection, better treatment and higher awareness, more people are surviving cancer today. As a result, there is an increasing need for all kinds of after-cancer support care. LYLAC, which stands for Live Your Life After Cancer, meets this need in a unique way, using life coaches who have survived cancer to help women live well after cancer.
LYLAC is designed to be effective in a relative short timeframe in an inspiring and uplifting way. It is completely new and available for both groups and individuals in the Hampshire-Dorset area.
Speaking after the meeting, Steve said: “What an inspiration Jo and Isabel are. LYLAC is a truly fantastic idea, and meets a need that I know is all too prevalent here. I am delighted they have really grasped the nettle with this, and I am sure LYLAC will be a really positive addition to many survivors’ lives.”
