Steve had the perfect opportunity to dust off his clubs on Friday September 17th as he joined Mayor Richard Izard for his charity golf day.

Teeing off to a shotgun start at 930am at East Horton Golf Club, in nearby Fair Oak, Steve joined a number of local golfers (of all standards) in raising money for the Mayor’s charities, Winchester Live at Home, Help for Heroes, and The Joe Glover Trust.

Speaking after an extremely enjoyable afternoon, Steve said: “With my background in the golf industry, I was delighted to be a part of this day. The course is fantastic, and you wouldn’t have thought that the course had just reopened, it’s really beautiful.”
