Steve Brine spent Saturday morning in and around Peninsula Square, as his team of well-respected and hard-working councillors joined him in catching up with local residents.

Steve's Labrador, Popcorn, was also present, as Steve, Fiona Mather, Ian Tait and Robert Sanders spent the morning discussing a range of issues including the NHS and the economy on a national level, with development, housing and anti-social behaviour on a more local level.

Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "As a keen historian, the past surrounding Peninsula Barracks, with the Sir Christopher Wren and Royal Green Jackets connections in particular, made this a fascinating morning for me.

"As ever, I picked up some important casework, and it was so useful to have such a strong local team with me, in Fiona, Ian and Robert, as we spoke to local residents."
