Wonston Fete 2022

Steve Brine and his family attended a warm and sunny Wonston Fete today.

The Old House once again hosted the event which featured a dog show, circus performances, duck race and a wide range of stalls and activities.

Steve says; "I have hardly ever missed a Wonston Fete and there's good reason for that. It's the quintessential English affair in the best setting you can imagine. Well done to all involved. I hope it raised lots of much needed funds."

This year all proceeds from the fete will be split between Holy Trinity Church in Wonston and the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

Hampshire Chronicle column - Farewell

Thursday, 30 May, 2024
My final column is perhaps more reflective than usual but I hope you will forgive me as I prepare to formally step down as Parliament is formally Dissolved ahead of the General Election on July 4. Fourteen years ago, in May 2010, I was first elected as our MP.
