Steve Brine met up with Carole Sawyers, CEO of Brendoncare, on Friday 10th July, to hear more about plans to build a specialist dementia care facility at Otterbourne Hill.
Steve heard how the organisation is very excited to be moving forward with their plans to provide the opportunity for people with dementia and their partner to be cared for whilst living together.
He said: "This was an excellent meeting at their Victoria Road base, and it was great to meet Carole, who has taken over as CEO. This is an exciting project, and I am very much looking forward to going back for a special site visit in the Autumn which I am sure will be crucial in supporting those in the community with dementia, as well, of course, as their carers."
