Steve Brine joined MPs from both main parties at the 15th Diwali celebration to be held in the House of Commons, on Wednesday 15th October.
The Winchester & Chandler's Ford MP was part of a massive turnout, which heard speeches from Bob Blackman (chair of the All-Party Group for Hindus), Keith Vaz, Ed Miliband, William Hague and Ed Balls.
Steve said: "I really enjoyed this event and it was great to see such a turnout from the two parties. I didn't go because I am myself a British Hindu, but because it is a special gathering in faith and the message of darkness to light and good over evil is so simple, and universal."
