Steve Brine MP joined the Winchester Litterpickers for one of their regular city centre ‘sortie’, commencing their pick outside the Willow Tree Pub by the river.

This ‘sortie’ took place in the lower part of town and Steve covered Durngate and up towards Winnall with organiser Eddie Woodnutt. Afterwards the group all gathered in the Willow Tree pub for a hot drink by the fire

The Winchester MP said; "The Winchester Litterpickers go out in all weather week in week out to keep our city clean. It’s a huge service they do for Winchester and we should all thank them for it."

Further information about the Winchester Litter Pickers and their planned programme of events for 2024 may be found on the CleanupUK community website.
