Steve Brine laid a special wreath at Winchester Cathedral on Remembrance Sunday, as thousands gathered to pay their respects.

The Winchester & Chandler's Ford MP was joined by his wife, Susie, as local people, including many ex-servicemen from across the district, paused for the two-minute Act of Remembrance silence. The preacher was The Venerable Ray Pentland, Chaplain-in-Chief and Archdeacon for the Royal Air Force.

Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "As always this was a very moving event, and it is the highest honour to lay the wreath on behalf of my constituents. Once again, the cathedral was packed with so many from all walks of life, united in the Act of Remembrance, and I pay tribute to everyone who made the event so special."
