Steve Brine made his first visit of the new Parliament to RHCH on Friday 17th January to fulfil a promise to visit the orthopaedic wards.

The Winchester MP talked to staff and saw for himself how recently-enacted changes are settling down.

He visited a handful of wards and the fracture clinic with Chief Executive Alex Whitfield and Chairman Steve Erskine.

Steve said: "I was delighted to be able to pop down this morning and especially to be able to see a number of orthopaedic wards. Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak, and of course to Alex and Steve for hosting."

Hampshire Chronicle column - Farewell
