Steve Brine spent part of Saturday morning in Kings Worthy as he addressed the monthly breakfast of a men's fellowship.
The Kings Worthy MP spoke to the gathering at St Mary's church, and spent 20 minutes telling the group about his experiences being a Christian in politics.
Speaking afterwards, Steve said: "I was delighted to finally be able to come along to the event, and it was great to meet the guys and be able to tell them more about my life.
"I also very much enjoyed the Q&A session afterwards, which is always valuable to me in learning what is on my constituents minds."
