Steve Brine dropped into All Saints C of E Primary School on Friday 8th March for an action-packed visit.
The Winchester MP took in a tour of the school, visiting a number of classrooms, and saw Mother's Day cards in the making, as well as preparations for Easter chicks which are getting ready to hatch.
He also spoke with headteacher Nicky Osborne and Foundation Governor, Rev'd Paul Kennedy, about temporary classrooms, future admission numners and school assembly.
Speaking on his way to an appointment at Naomi House, Steve said: "I was really pleased to join Headteacher Nicky Osborne and her team today at this lovely community school in the east of the city.
"You can always tell the quality of a school from leadership and Nicky is clearly providing that here at All Saints, also borne out by the number of NQTs who started their careers here and who have stayed."
