Steve Brine visited Itchen Abbas this morning as part of the local election campaign.

The MP held a pop-up street surgery in the village along with well local county candidate, Caroline Horrill and city candidate and local campaigner Fiona Isaacs.

The pair spent a busy few hours meeting residents who wanted to discuss a wide range of local and national issues.

Steve said afterwards; "It was great to be out with Caroline and Fiona this morning covering all types of topics with local residents, speeding being a big one. I know Fiona and Caroline would be on it, should they be elected"

The Conservative candidate for Police and Crime Commissioner, Donna Jones, visited the village soon after to speak to residents about speeding issues following Caroline and Fiona's invitation.
