Fryern visit March 2024

Chandler's Ford MP, Steve Brine, visited Fryern Schools on Friday to meet new Headteacher Jeremy Payne and the school council.

As was as taking a look round the new buildings, and meeting each class, the MP took questions on a wide range of local and national subjects from the large school council which includes representatives from across the school community.

Steve said; "Absolutely loved my visit to Fryern this morning to meet new headteacher and the fabulous school council. First time I’ve been able to see around the new build and it’s a triumph. Thank you Hampshire County Council."

My final column is perhaps more reflective than usual but I hope you will forgive me as I prepare to formally step down as Parliament is formally Dissolved ahead of the General Election on July 4. Fourteen years ago, in May 2010, I was first elected as our MP.
