Steve Brine linked up with new headteacher, Sophie Davies, as he visited Twyford St Marys Primary School this morning to meet the team and hear how the past year has affected staff and students.
The MP spent time chatting with Sophie, who was previously Deputy Head at the school, before sitting down with the newly elected school council. The pair also spent time looking around the school site and meeting various members of staff.
Steve says; "I have wanted to get in to meet properly with Sophie for a while now but the pandemic prevented us. It was so good to catch-up and I really enjoyed my session with the lively new school council. They will go far."
