The Winchester MP met up with Natalie Webb, the new Chief Officer, at their St Georges Street base, and explained how important it was for them to meet after his re-election given their close working relationship in the past five years. They also discussed how the volunteers can be better recognised for their efforts and how the CAB in Winchester can better work with outside agencies such as HMP Winchester.
He said: "The CAB have carried out so much important work for our city, and they are such a valued resource here in Winchester. We had a really useful catch-up as I start the new term as our MP, and I hope Natalie found the session equally helpful. It was especially nice to meet a number of the volunteers hard at work and to be able to thank them for all they do locally."
