Steve Brine dropped into Twyford St Mary's primary school on Thursday 5th October, for the special opening of the school's new outdoor classroom.
The recent Graze Festival raised some of the money for the facility, which then held a special Q&A session, where Steve spoke to members of the School Council in front of teachers, parents and the Mayor of Winchester.
Steve said: "I always really enjoy my visits to Twyford St Mary's and this was really special as I got to meet the Head Hannah Beckett for the first time and see this brilliant new outdoor classroom. I have done many Q&A sessions with school-children but this one was different, on a wooden throne in the garden!
"One little boy, Caspar, asked me about the importance of community and summed it up really. This excellent new facility was made possible because of just that; the school community and the wider community in Twyford who raised the money to make this happen. I look forward to going back in the Spring to see their planting as it gets underway."
