The photocall, which was held at the Garrison Ground in Bar End, will drum up further publicity for the annual race, sponsored by Tesco, where thousands of women across the country walk, jog or run to raise money contributing to the groundbreaking work Cancer Research UK carries out.
The charity is funded entirely by the public and needs all the support it can get to continue to make progress and give hope to the millions affected by cancer.
Speaking after the event, Steve said: "Even at this late stage I hope people will still sign-up because we want the Winchester Race for Life to be the biggest yet.
"It will be a hugely emotional day for many people taking part, including for me. I just hope we can raise some serious money from the event and do our bit to beat this dreadful disease."
