Steve and Susie dropped into Twyford on Friday evening as The Volunteer 're-opened' in aid of a local charity.
Friday and Saturday evening were the final re-opening of the Queen Street pub's doors, which is home to Penny & Mark Smith, and the couple were raising money for Percy's Pals, a charity set up in the village in memory of Richard Percival.
Steve said: "I dropped into the Volunteer to see Penny and Mark back in 2011, the last time it was open and wouldn't miss this for the world. Susie and I love the whole idea and Percy's Pals is such a good cause we wanted to support.
"As a former speech therapist on the stroke unit at SGH, Susie was especially interested to hear about the scanner this fundraiser will help to buy for use in Southampton by stroke patients."
The two evenings raised a total of £1818 for Percy's Pals.
