Fete season continued, as villages and communities across Winchester and Chandler's Ford held their first fairs and festivals since before the Covid-19 pandemic, in 2019.

Steve Brine, along with his family, joined Councillor Fiona Isaacs and Harry Johnson-Hill for the festivities on Old Alresford Village Green. The MP said; "They don’t come more English than Old Alresford Village Fair. Thanks to everyone who stopped to chat and lovely to see Cllr Isaacs and Harry before they tackled the dog show."

On top of the dog show there was a Duck Race, Bouncy Slide, Children’s Tug O War, Bar and BBQ, along with free vintage bus rides from Alresford.
