Following the success of Winchester Safe Places, Steve Brine is delighted at news that Safer Places in Alresford will be launched on 19th July at the Community Centre, when the team will be handing out cards and information throughout the morning.

The Safer Places scheme aims to improve the experience of vulnerable people in the community, providing vulnerable people, and particularly those with a learning disability, with a safe place to go to where help can be summoned if they are feeling scared or upset while out on their own in the community.

Steve Brine said: "My own Stockbridge Road office is a registered Safe Place, and I was honoured to be asked to be a part of the launch of the Winchester scheme back in June 2012.

"I am delighted that Safe Places is now moving to Alresford and wish the team all the best for the launch."
