The restaurant is one of 60 nationwide to be in contention for the prize, which is presented after a Grand Final each Autumn in Westminster.
Last year, Winchester's Bangkok Brasserie came second and previous Junior Masterchef winner Miff Kayum took his team to the awards ceremony with Steve Brine MP.
Commenting on this year's nomination, Steve said: "If Shapla does even half as well as Miff did last year then they will have done us all proud. I know they are extremely popular, not only in Alresford but across the area. Customers vote with their feet, and I am delighted that Shapla has successfully made it this far."
The restaurant will host a mystery diner in the coming weeks, after which they will learn if they will progress to the Grand Final.
Keith Vaz MP, Chair of the Tiffin Club, added: "We are delighted with the nomination of Shapla. It will really put Winchester and Chandler's Ford on the map."
