Special auction held in Green Man on Saturday 27 July

Local businesses have rallied around Hyde's Eddie Baker as he raises money for KEF Tanzania in memory of his late wife Hannah.

Hannah, tragically passed away in an accident on 3rd March this year, and in her memory, Eddie and their group of friends are taking on a whole host of challenges to raises funds for the school that was so close to Hannah's heart.

Eddie and his friends have already completed the Three Peaks Challenge, which Eddie described as 'amazing and also the hardest physical challenge of my life', and they are now holding a special raffle and auction at the Green Man pub, on Southgate Street, to raise more funds.

Eddie said: "As a follow up to the amazing achievement of completing the Three Peaks Challenge in memory of my beautiful wife Hannah we will continue to try and raise funds to build schools in Tanzania. The raffle and auction will be held at the Green Man in Winchester from 7pm, please come along for a drink and some fun."

Steve said: "All the prizes have been donated by local businesses, and I know how grateful Eddie and his friends are. Hopefully there'll be a fantastic turnout on such a special occasion."

The businesses which have donated so far are: Truth or Dare, Warren & Son, Good Hair Days, Bloomers florists, Dinghams, La Place, Slug & Lettuce, Cafe Monde, Zizzis, Costa Coffee, Boudoir Blush, Computer Solutions, Hampshire Cricket, Julian Porter of Southampton, Movers and Shapers, Arcana and Southampton Audi.
