New Winchester & Chandler's Ford MP Steve Brine has welcomed the arrival of a new website aimed at tackling local domestic abuse.

The website is run by the Hampshire Domestic Abuse Forum (HDAF), which is a group of organisations and agencies in Hampshire that work together to help and support people who are experiencing domestic abuse.

The organisations involved include Crimestoppers, Hampshire County Council, Hampshire Constabulary and Victim Support.

Steve said: "This is a great one-stop shop that points people in need of help in the right direction. Domestic abuse takes many different forms, and sadly is still a huge problem in our society. Everybody behind this new initiative should be applauded as we seek to tackle this most insidious of problems."

You can visit the site, which also gives tips on how to use the facility confidentially, at www.hampshiredomesticabuse.org.uk
