Steve met with Alan Rickman, chair of TACT Evening Group, on Monday 11th October for a lunchtime session at the House of Commons straight after Conference Season.

TACT, which stands for Tenants and Council Together, was formed in 1995 and are Winchester City Council’s district-wide tenant and leaseholder forum.

Among the topics that came up in discussion were Barton Farm, the negative subsidy issue, solar panels on local council houses and the building of new council homes in the future.

Speaking afterwards, on his first day back after Conference Season, Steve said: "TACT is a long-standing influential group working for the benefit of tenants across Winchester and I look forward to working with them and developing our relationship for the benefit of all tenants in the years ahead."
