The Alresford MP and Lisa, a respected town councillor who is running for Winchester City Council this Spring, spoke to a large number of local people, about a range of issues, from the economy, and the upcoming Budget, to local issues such as lorries through the town, the proposed traveller site and the local plan.
Steve said: "If successful at this election, Lisa Griffiths will form a strong partnership with me as the local MP working cross-party to really deliver for residents.
"So many people have said that politics are largely irrelevant in The Alresfords, and Lisa has already shown herself to be an independent-minded free thinker.
"She really understands the issues locally and in exactly the same way I did when running to be your MP, Lisa is committed to running a positive local campaign."
